Kate Middleton zakazala: Nabrana balska haljina nije bila pravi izbor

Britanska kraljevska porodica ugostila je kralja i kraljicu Holandije. U čast gostima kraljica Elizabeta priredila je svečanu večeru.

Na večeri je bila i Kate Middleton. Međutim,  njena kombinacija nije bilo baš najbolja. Ona je obukla nabranu balsku haljinu Alexandera McQueen. Uz nju je kombinirala razkošnu ogrlicu i tijaru “Lover’s Knot” koja je pripadala princezi Diani.

Nabrana haljina se nije svidjela svima. Neki kritičari čak kažu da su su ona i britanska premijerka Theresa May, koja je također bila gošća, trebale zamijeniti haljine. May se odlučila za jednostavniju tamnoplavu kreaciju koja prati liniju tijela.

Much better pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge’s Alexander McQueen gown at tonight’s state banquet ✨ love the colour – a soft duck egg blue – still not a fan of the 1980s ruching and fish tail though! Kate is also wearing the Lover’s Knot tiara – a favourite of Princess Diana’s – and the Rundell necklace – the pearl and diamond wedding necklace of Queen Alexandra. It hasn’t been seen since 1983 when the Queen Mother wore it during the state visit from the Netherlands – so a nice way of linking the jewels to a previous Dutch royal visit! 🇳🇱💎🇬🇧She is also wearing the Royal Family Order – a miniature portrait of the Queen surrounded by diamonds on a silk ribbon – a decoration given personally by The Queen to female members of the family. This is only the second time she has worn the order (it was given to her last year and she wore it to the Diplomatic reception in December).
